Today's restaurant marketing tip: Sell your menuBirthdays are the number one occasion that people go to restaurants to celebrate. The right birthday program can help you increase sales by garnering more frequent returns from your existing customers, as well as several new customers who are invited to come celebrate. Send your customers a personalized birthday email or card with an offer to entice them to celebrate their birthday at your restaurant. Offer a free appetizer or dessert, or a free meal. Make it fun by adding special touches like balloons, games or even a small gift. You want to make the night memorable so your guests will want to celebrate their birthdays at your restaurant every year.
